| D&D Chevrolet was formed on August 20,1971, when Darwin Kilburg and Don Achen purchased the DeWitt Motors franchise from Charles Rasmussen. The renamed the dealership D&D Chevrolet. |
| 1974 D&D Chevrolet facilities purchased |

| In 1974, Mr. Rasmussen passed away and Darwin and Don purchased the building and facilities where the dealership was located. |
| 1978 D&D Chevrolet enlarges its lot |

| June of 1977, Darwin and his wife, Judy, bought out Don Achen's stock in the company and because became the sole proprietors of D&D Chevrolet.In 1978 the house next to the dealership was purchased and removed to make way for a larger sales lot to accommodate growth. |

| In 1981 a windstorm left the facilities damaged and Darwin and Judy decide to remodel the storefront. |

| To make way for a more expansive inventory the quanset hut was removed from the corner of the property in 1985. |

In 1996, Judy passed away and by 1997, Darwin was prepared to sell the dealership. It was at that time that he contacted Kirk Lindsly, his son-in-law, to discuss the asking price for the dealership. Kirk was the general manager for a dealership in Detroit and Kris, Darwin's Daughter, was working for Ford Motor Company. Darwin decided to retain ownership of the dealership with kirk as his general manager. Later that year, due to tremendous growth, the dealership purchased land that they had inquired about in 1985 to build a new dealership. By October of 1998, the new facilities were completed and the facilities were moved to it's current location. |

| With Kirk as general manager the dealership thrived and saw additional land purchased to enlarge the vehicle lot and the foundation of an online version of the dealership. In 2001 Kirk Lindsly purchased a portion of the dealership and became part owner. |

| 2005 D&D finishes the new HUMMER facilities |

| In 2003 D&D acquired a new HUMMER dealership. 2004 D&D purchases land in Davenport to be the new location of D&D HUMMER facilities. While the new location is being built, D&D HUMMER operates from the D&D Chevrolet location. 2005 sees the completion of the facilities. |
